  Gosh, where do I start? How about:

  1. That all the childless couples in the New System would be responsible for raising all the children who were resurrected.

  2. 1975 was the end.

  3. We would all be naked in the New System only after reaching perfection. Different people would reach perfection before others (I guess it's a race) and God would set up Resurrection Centers (presumably they would be like the teleport chambers like in the movie The Fly) and that one could tell how close someone was to perfection by how undressed they were. Really.

  I'll be honest, before reading this thread, that thought had not occurred to me. Thankfully it has not occured to some unstable people. But you're right, it's only a matter of time. What saddens me is the way it will be spin doctored and blamed on "This Evil System of Things". They can avert disaster simply by acknowledging that people cannot be used and thrown away so carelessly and just change their attitude. But that won't happen will it?

  personally, i do not believe god ever has or ever will exist.

  i have my reasons -- i guess i could be considered an agnostic, rather than an athiest.

  i was curious to see what the larger part of the former borg community believed, now looking from the outside in, rather than the opposite.

  gonna go see episode ii today!

  ...i know i know..it's been such a long time since it came out but i havn't gotten the time to do that stuff especially 2 hours out of a day on a busy work schedule.

  but i wanted to get people's opinion...what did people think of the star wars episode ii compared to the other 4 that have come out already.

  I thought Clones was the best since Empire. It is dealing with a weighty issue such as handing over freedom in the name of security. I found the sight of the Jedi fighting along side stormtroopers was eerie and disturbing, as was the final shot of the movie. Thumbs up from Tex!

  everytime a new revelation comes to the board, some suggest that this is the big one.

  whether it be the blood issue, the u n debacle, the silentlambs saga, some cryptic comment about jw's and their involvement with churches, it seems like nothing effects the jehovah's witnesses rank and file.

  Realise that most (but not all) JWs are not aware of the child abuse issue. Those that are do not care and will not leave because of the scandal. Realise also that this is a very good reason why the GB demonises the Internet, and most especially discussion boards.

  It's easier to keep them on the farm if they haven't seen Paris.

  I thought the Defenders were pretty cool. Hey 13th, you mentioned issues 1-17, #17 was my favourite. Don't know why. But it was. I do agree with you though about the Hulk. Never cared for him in the series. Didn't Valkyrie change her uniform for a while to some kind of gold coloured spandex looking thing? This was the only series that I didn't have complete because of the Son of Satan character. He kept popping up and although my mom didn't like me reading them, she would have flipped and thrown all of my comics out if she had seen that guy, so I just avoided the problem by not buying those issues. Thanks for the update on what happened. I stopped reading them all in about 1982 or so, and I've lost track of what happened to that world.

  i can prove that monsters really exist, although genetic tests of the species of these monsters might frighten and alarm you.

  tests will reveal human dna.
